The Proper Method of Performing Salah (Prayer) As Taught by the Prophet

The Sifetu_Selat application was created to teach the precise method of performing salah exactly as the Prophet (peace be upon him) demonstrated. This content was originally compiled by Sheikh Muhammad Nasiruddin Al-Albani in his renowned work. We have faithfully preserved all of his original Arabic teachings while adding Amharic translations to make this valuable knowledge accessible to the majority of Ethiopian Muslims.

We acknowledge that we are not Islamic scholars ourselves, and we recognize there may be more fundamental Islamic knowledge that Ethiopian Muslims need to learn first. We warmly welcome anyone who can assist us by providing basic translated Islamic materials for Ethiopian Muslims. We are fully prepared to incorporate such beneficial content into our application at no cost.

Our only aim is to serve the Muslim community by facilitating access to authentic Islamic knowledge, particularly regarding the proper performance of salah according to the Sunnah. We have taken great care not to add, alter or omit any of Sheikh Al-Albani's original instructions while making them available in both Arabic and Amharic for better understanding.

For those who wish to contribute their knowledge to help Ethiopian Muslims better understand their deen, we offer our programming services completely free of charge to include such beneficial content in our application for the sake of Allah.
