As of now, there is no official announcement from developer Deep Silver or publisher THQ Nordic regarding a next-generation enhanced version of the Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The original Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, Stalker: Clear Sky, and Stalker: Call of Pripyat were released between 2007 and 2010, and while the franchise has maintained a strong cult following, the "Legends of the Zone Trilogy" — a term that may be used informally by fans or media — has not been officially confirmed as a remastered or upgraded package.
However, here’s what we do know:
Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl received a remastered version in 2020, developed by Crytek and published by Deep Silver, which included updated graphics, 4K support, and improved audio. This version was released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and later on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S — making it the most current iteration available for next-gen platforms.
Stalker: Clear Sky and Stalker: Call of Pripyat have not received official remasters, though they are still playable on modern hardware via patches and community mods.
In 2023, Deep Silver hinted at future projects in the Stalker universe, including a new game titled Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl, developed by GSC Game World, which released in 2023 and was fully optimized for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, featuring advanced next-gen graphics and performance.
So, while there’s no official "Legends of the Zone Trilogy" enhanced package, the 2020 remaster of Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl is already available and enhanced for next-gen consoles, and the 2023 release of Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl is the true next-gen evolution of the franchise.
