The IAȘI BILET application is the official travel portal provided by the Iași Public Transport Company. It enables you to handle all the essential tasks for a seamless public transport experience.
With this app, you can buy travel tickets using a bank card, calculate the best route for your journey, and view real-time locations of lines, stops, and vehicles on an interactive map.
Once you create an account and link a transport card, you can top up that card with travel passes directly within the app via secure online card payment. You can also check your card balance and see which travel passes are active at any time.
A single account can manage multiple transport cards. For each card, you can perform top-up actions, such as adding funds to your e-wallet, purchasing new subscriptions, or renewing existing ones.
After making purchases, validating tickets, or undergoing checks, you can review a detailed history of all your transactions.
Users eligible for subsidies under current legislation can apply for an approved subsidized profile directly in the app by uploading the required documents. Once approved, either through the app or at a service counter, you can purchase or request discounted or free travel tickets directly from IAȘI BILET.
Legal entities partnered with the transport directorate can manage their entire card portfolio via the web portal or mobile application.
When buying a ticket, as its expiry date approaches, or when other card actions occur, you can choose to receive notifications on your device or via email.
The app helps you find the optimal route between your starting point (A) and destination (B) using live vehicle tracking.
You can begin your trip from your current location or any other point on the map. Choose your destination by searching for an address, point of interest, a specific station, or by dropping a pin on the map. You can also select a previously searched or favorited location.
The app displays walking time to the nearest station, the vehicle's estimated arrival, and the total journey duration.
You can save frequently visited locations to a dedicated page in the menu or from the home screen search, allowing for faster and easier route planning in the future.
The application shows your required vehicle in real time and sends a notification when you need to switch lines.
You can view a line's full route or a specific direction on the map and save favorite lines. You'll receive alerts about service issues on your saved lines that might impact your trip.
On the dedicated lines page, search for any line to see real-time vehicle locations for a chosen travel direction on the map.
Select any station from the home page or a line's route to see all lines serving that stop, along with arrival times for each. You can view the next three arrivals and the full schedule for all lines at that station.
The map also shows the locations of official ticket sales points. Tap on one to see its operating hours.
The app is available in Romanian and English, based on your device's language setting.
