8 Games to Exit Xbox Game Pass in May 2025

by Michael Jun 14,2025

Microsoft has officially announced the list of games set to leave Xbox Game Pass on May 15, 2025. A total of eight titles will be removed from the service, including popular picks like Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

For those unfamiliar, Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s all-access gaming subscription that gives players unlimited access to a vast library of games across Xbox consoles, PC, and cloud platforms. Depending on your subscription tier, you can enjoy day-one releases, cloud streaming, and multiplayer features with friends—all included in one convenient package.

  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • Chants of Sennaar
  • Dune: Spice Wars
  • Hauntii
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2
  • Little Kitty, Big City
  • Planet of Lana
  • The Big Con

Once these titles leave the service, Microsoft is expected to announce the next wave of additions for the remainder of May 2025 shortly thereafter.

In other Xbox Game Pass news this month, Ultimate subscribers gained a new feature: cloud streaming directly to Xbox consoles, allowing gameplay without downloads. This expansion builds on existing streaming capabilities available on smart TVs, PCs, mobile devices, and Meta Quest headsets—marking the first time this functionality is available natively on Xbox hardware.

Meanwhile, fans still reeling from the recent announcement that [ttpp]Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed to May 2026[/ttpp] may want to revisit GTA V Enhanced Edition, which is now available on both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. This marks the first time the blockbuster title has appeared on the PC version of the service—a welcome treat for longtime fans looking to dive back into Los Santos.
