Aladdin Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Full Guide and Rewards

Upon Aladdin's arrival in Dreamlight Valley, he invites players to hang out with the Magic Carpet and capture a photo together. To complete the "Carpet Diem" quest, which starts in the Agrabah realm, equip the Carpet as a Companion via the wardrobe menu and take a selfie with it.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

(Gameloft) To unlock Aladdin’s Level 2 quest, "Good As Gold," elevate his friendship by gifting him his favorite items. Aladdin then reveals that Scrooge McDuck needs assistance testing a new security system and enlists your help. Begin by speaking to Scrooge and then take photos inside his shop.

Your mission involves photographing:

• A door safeguarding more treasure than the Cave of Wonders.
• Two ways to reach the second floor of the shop.
• Three escape routes to evade the guards.

Focus on capturing broad shots to fulfill all requirements efficiently. After taking the photos, discuss the next phase with Aladdin. He suggests wearing dark, sporty attire, and while optional, changing into this outfit between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. can enhance the espionage experience.

Once dressed, enter the shop and talk to Aladdin. He directs you to press the large red button on the left wall of the counter, initiating Scrooge’s security test, transforming the store into a closed state with pools of light and interactive buttons. Navigate through the store by manipulating these buttons to reach the vault downstairs without triggering the lights.

The process involves trial and error:

• Start by pressing the center button Aladdin indicates.
• Move to the back right wall to disable two upstairs lights.
• Press the button above the right staircase to shift the spotlight away from the left staircase’s button.
• Activate the button above the left staircase to extinguish the light not covering the initial center button, then press it again to turn off the right staircase’s light.

Downstairs, press the button on the right side of the counter to redirect the spotlight at the front door. Then, use the button on the left display counter to deactivate the light above the security test button. Finally, press the button to the left of the counter and speak with Aladdin by the vault.

Coins will begin to float around the shop; collect all four by gliding and pressing the interact button. Deliver them to Aladdin, who explains that some coins have escaped into Dreamlight Valley. Exit the shop to find yourself in front of your house, where you must collect nine more coins scattered across the area. Return to Aladdin and Jasmine’s house to give him the remaining coins, contributing to Scrooge’s growing pile of gold.

Complete the quest by taking a photo with Aladdin and the gold, then listen to him and Scrooge discuss the mission. Conclude by talking to Aladdin one last time.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

As Aladdin settles into Dreamlight Valley, he proposes crafting a Dreamlight Magic Carpet, similar to his companion from Agrabah. Begin by consulting Merlin, who directs you to the Dreamlight Library for three books on Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique. Locate these books:

• On the floor next to the book pile in the back left corner.
• On the shelf against the back right wall.
• To the left of the desk in the center of the room.

After collecting the books, deliver them to Aladdin for research. He then sends you to Minnie for assistance in assembling the carpet. Gather the necessary materials:

• 4 Dream Shards
• 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach)
• 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor)
• 25 Fiber (Kristoff’s Stall, Crafting)

Bring these supplies to Aladdin and Jasmine’s house. Wait for Aladdin to create the Dreamlight Magic Carpet, then accept the Magic Scroll from him and interact with the carpet on the floor to make it fly. Equip the carpet from the wardrobe menu and follow Aladdin to the Disney castle’s entrance.

Aladdin has planned a tour around the Valley on the new magic carpet, providing snacks to maintain your energy. Since the Dreamlight Magic Carpet is a Glider skin, you must consume enough prepared meals to overfill your energy bar (turning it yellow) to use it.

(Gameloft) Start the tour by gliding under the banner in the Plaza’s main square, then navigate through the Forest of Valor, Dazzle Beach, Peaceful Meadow, and back to Dazzle Beach. Ensure you track the quest to receive directional prompts if you lose your way.

Note: Despite appearances, the Dreamlight Magic Carpet functions like other Gliders in Disney Dreamlight Valley, meaning ground obstacles can impede your progress.

After completing the tour, speak with Aladdin to finish the "Bring Your Own Carpet" Level 4 Friendship quest.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

At Friendship Level 7, Aladdin initiates the "All That Glitters" quest. He wants to create an extraordinary bouquet for Jasmine, surpassing the palace gardens of Agrabah. Assist by gathering:

• 4 yellow flowers (any type)
• 6 purple flowers (any type)

Deliver these to Aladdin and witness his disappointment when Jasmine remarks that the bouquet is just as beautiful as the palace gardens. Aladdin then recalls a scroll from Scrooge McDuck hinting at hidden treasure, hoping to surprise Jasmine with it.

Follow the scroll's clue, "To begin at the mermaid’s isle," by traveling to Skull Island and then to Ariel’s island. On the upper right side of the peninsula, pick up the Golden Sun Piece and insert it into the tall rock on the left.

An image of a broken-down pillar appears. Head north from the rock to dig up a box buried in the sand, fish for a pillar piece near the raft, and open a nearby barrel. Assemble the pieces on the Pillar, but nothing happens. Consult Aladdin, who suggests seeking help in Dreamlight Valley.

Talk to Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel about the Pillar, but they offer no insights. Return to Ariel’s island to find Jasmine, who shares her knowledge of the Pillar’s rotating pieces and clues. Follow the clue, "From the tiniest seed, water creates blooms as tall as golden towers," to arrange the Pillar:

• Middle piece: Water
• Bottom piece: Seed
• Top piece: Flower

Collect the treasure from the water and give it to Aladdin. Jasmine reveals the true treasure is a lifetime of adventure with him. Accept the golden tea set furniture item from Aladdin to complete the "All That Glitters" Level 7 Friendship quest.
