Starting today, Dell is offering an incredible deal on the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC, now equipped with the cutting-edge GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, for just $2,399.99 shipped. This is a standout price for an RTX 5080 prebuilt, especially as other brands have been steadily increasing their prices since the RTX 50 series launched in January. At Dell, the only other prebuilt with an RTX 5080 is priced over $4,000. If you're considering building your own PC, good luck finding a standalone RTX 5080 GPU; you might end up spending as much on the GPU alone as you would on this complete system.

This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC comes packed with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F Meteor Lake CPU features a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, 20 cores, and a 30MB cache. It's cooled efficiently by a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, and the entire system is powered by a robust 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.

The RTX 5080 is part of the new Blackwell series of graphics cards, which are currently in high demand and hard to find. In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie notes, "If you already have a high-end graphics card from the last couple of years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 might not be a significant upgrade – it doesn't offer a substantial performance lead over the RTX 4080, though DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation does enhance the visual experience in supported games. However, for gamers with older graphics cards seeking a substantial performance boost, the RTX 5080 is a game-changer, especially if you're keen on utilizing Nvidia's AI enhancements."
