Two exciting events are coming to Pokémon Go this month, each featuring the debut of unique Pokémon from the Galar region. Whether you're drawn to the charm of Applin or the might of Dynamax Entei, there's plenty to look forward to in these sweet and fiery celebrations.
The Sweet Discoveries event, running from April 24th to 29th, introduces the adorable Dragon/Grass-type Pokémon, Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples to evolve it into Flapple, or Sweet Apples for Appletun. These apples can be found in the wild, particularly around Mossy Lures, and may also trigger Applin encounters.
During the event, keep an eye out for wild spawns like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will give you more chances to encounter themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research offers both free and paid options for acquiring Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid version provides additional benefits, including extra Mossy Lure Modules and more encounters with Applin.
Don't miss out on the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and participate in PokéStop Showcases featuring themed Pokémon. If you're more interested in intense battles, mark your calendar for the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th–27th, where Dynamax Entei makes its grand entrance. Keep your fingers crossed for a Shiny encounter!
Prepare for these events with some Pokémon Go codes to boost your gameplay!
Event bonuses include an increased Max Particle cap, reduced distance required to collect them, and faster Power Spot refresh rates. You'll also earn eight times more Max Particles from each Power Spot you visit. Leading up to the Max Battle Weekend, free Timed Research begins on April 21st, rewarding you with a Dynamax Sobble to help counter Entei's fiery attacks.
Get ready for both events by stocking up on necessary items at the Pokémon Go Web Store.
