New Assassin's Creed Shadows Trailer Showcases PC Version Features

Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed Shadows trailer showcases enhanced PC features. The trailer highlights support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ensuring optimal performance across various hardware configurations. Ultra-wide monitor support, RTGI, and RT Reflections are also emphasized. A built-in benchmark tool allows for easy performance testing.

The minimum PC specs for 1080p/30 FPS gameplay include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end players aiming for 4K/60 FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing will need an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, and an RTX 4090 (24GB) GPU.

Extensive optimization efforts with Intel promise strong performance on their processors. Post-launch assessments will determine performance on AMD systems. The developers are aiming to address stuttering issues that plagued previous Assassin's Creed titles. Mirage demonstrated significant improvements over Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla in this area.

Assassin's Creed Shadows launches March 20th on PC and consoles.
