The secret fighting arena is nestled at Ominesanji Temple in Southeastern Yamato. Before heading there, synchronize at the Ominesanji Overlook viewpoint to the west of the area, which will serve as a fast travel point, making future visits and character switching effortless.
Upon arriving at Ominesanji Temple, converse with Gyoji again. He'll inform you about the four one-on-one duels you must win, followed by a battle against the ultimate champion. Following the cutscene, ring the bell to commence your first fight.
How to Complete The Tournament in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
The Tournament is a series of intense, life-or-death combat encounters. You can take breaks between fights, so make sure to ring the bell to initiate the next battle when ready. Use this time to heal with rations and upgrade your weapons and armor as necessary.
To triumph over each opponent, we recommend equipping Yasuke with a long katana. Focus on dodging and parrying to exploit their vulnerabilities. Utilize abilities like Power Dash and Payback when your adrenaline is sufficient. Knowing the weapons of each fighter can help you choose the right counter-strategy:
- Lady Masago wields a Naginata.
- Lord Suguru uses a Katana.
- Lord Hokuto employs a Kanabo.
