Supercell has just launched the thrilling Lumber Love season in Clash Royale, bringing a mix of high-speed action and strategic gameplay to the forefront. This season introduces exciting new elements including a fresh card, an evolution, various limited-time events, and the much-anticipated return of the 2v2 ladder.
Leading the charge in this season is the new 2-Elixir troop, the Berserker. Unlike other low-cost cards such as Bats or Goblins, the Berserker operates solo. She prioritizes durability over raw damage, making her more resistant to spells that typically decimate swarm troops. However, she faces challenges in direct combat against stronger melee units, so strategic support is key to maximizing her potential. Curious about her standing among other cards? Don't miss our Clash Royale tier list to see how she compares!
Accompanying the Berserker is the Lumberjack Evolution, marking the second Legendary Evolution in Clash Royale. This evolution brings a unique twist to the game; upon defeat, the Lumberjack transforms into an invisible ghost, but only while under the influence of his Rage effect. Known as the Lumberghost, he can inflict significant damage to towers with his rapid attacks. However, he remains vulnerable to certain spells and can be easily distracted by troops or buildings outside his Rage zone.
Throughout February, the Lumber Love season hosts a series of engaging events and challenges. Kicking off the month is the Super Touchdown event from February 3rd to 10th, followed by the Power of Love event from February 10th to 17th, where troops can dramatically switch allegiances mid-battle. The Runic Rampage event, from February 17th to 24th, showcases the synergy between the Berserker and Rune Giant, while the Lumberjack Evolution Draft Challenge, running from February 24th to March 3rd, offers players the chance to test this new Evolution in action. Each event promises enticing rewards like banner decorations and frames.
Adding to the excitement, the 2v2 Ladder makes a comeback from February 10th to 24th. Additionally, note that the 100 Crowns boost has been removed from the Diamond Pass in Pass Royale.
