Originally a 2022 BOOOM Gamejam entry by Team Woll, Cato: Buttered Cat's positive reception led to its full development. Currently available on Steam for PC, the Android version is on its way. While the Google Play page isn't live yet, pre-registration is open on the official TapTap page.
Gameplay:
Control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and explore five fantastical worlds. With over 200 levels, including side quests, and a captivating storyline revealed piecemeal, the game offers hours of engaging gameplay. Thirty unique outfits add a touch of customization.
The cat’s agility and the toast's projectile properties create dynamic interactions. Use the toast to propel the cat to otherwise inaccessible areas, adding a strategic layer to the puzzle-solving. Hidden rooms and Easter eggs add to the replayability.
