Sony Pictures has thrilling news for anime fans: Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is set to slice its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. The announcement came during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they revealed securing worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to bring Tatsuki Fujimoto's gripping story to the big screen this fall. While US audiences can mark their calendars for late October, over 80 other countries will get to experience the film starting September 24, 2025. Toho will handle the release in Japan on September 19, 2025.

The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came in December 2023, serving as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young boy who gains a new lease on life after striking a deal with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This pact grants him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from his body, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film brings back the entire voice cast from the anime to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless continuation of the beloved series.
