There are two methods for altering your Palico's language: through the game settings or the character creator.
Method 1: Game Settings
- Access the in-game menu by pressing the Options button.
- Navigate to "Game Settings," then select the "Audio" tab.
- Locate the "Palico Language" option.
- Choose either "Felyne Language" (meows and purrs with subtitles) or "Set Voice Type" (your game's language).
Method 2: Character Creator
- Enter your tent and access the character creator from the menu.
- While customizing your Palico's appearance, you can also select its language preference. You can also adjust its voice pitch and tone here.
Gameplay remains unaffected by this setting, so choose whichever option suits your preference. While "Felyne Language" offers a cuter, more immersive experience, constantly reading subtitles might be inconvenient.
