Free Civ 7 Updates

Firaxis plans to release several free updates based on player feedback. Initial updates will focus on balance adjustments, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. Future priorities include:

  • Multiplayer team support for co-op play.
  • Expansion to 8-player multiplayer across all ages, refined through the Distant Land system.
  • Player selection of starting and ending ages for customized game lengths.
  • A wider variety of map types.
  • Hotseat multiplayer.
