2025 is shaping up to be a monumental year for fans of DC Comics, and arguably no project is generating as much buzz as the highly anticipated sequel to the iconic Batman: Hush saga. For the first time in nearly two decades, DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee is taking charge of a monthly Batman comic. The sequel, titled Batman: Hush 2, begins its run in March with Batman #158, directly continuing the tale that captivated readers from 2002 to 2004.
DC has already teased the upcoming series with an extended preview of Batman #158, as well as a sneak peek at Batman #159 and a collection of variant covers that form part of the Hush 2 (or H2sh, if you prefer) lineup. Explore these visual highlights in the gallery below:

While DC has introduced various Hush-related storylines over the years, Batman: Hush 2 marks the return of the original creative team. Writers Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee, along with inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings, reunite to craft this eagerly awaited continuation.
Batman: Hush 2 expands upon the recent epilogue featured in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition. In this new chapter, Batman uncovers evidence suggesting that his childhood friend Tommy Elliot survived their climactic showdown, setting the stage for a fresh mystery. Hush orchestrates events within Batman’s inner circle of allies and adversaries, creating chaos and intrigue.
The series debuts in Batman #158-163, with the first issue arriving in stores on March 26. Following this arc, DC plans to relaunch the series with a brand-new #1 issue and an updated costume, welcoming writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez to usher in a new chapter for the Caped Crusader.
