Dead Cells fans, brace yourselves—the free updates are winding down, but the game itself isn't going anywhere! Since its launch in 2018, Dead Cells has been on a roll with fresh content, but all good things must come to an end. Let's dive into what the final updates for Dead Cells Mobile have in store for us.
What’s in Store?
The final two updates, Clean Cut and The End is Near, have officially hit Android. While the developers are hanging up their update hats, you can still enjoy the game to your heart's content. These last updates bring a twist with a touch of the cursed.
First off, four new weapons are introduced. Imagine wielding giant Sewing Scissors or the Misericorde sword, which deals massive critical damage to enemies below half health. But beware, if you don’t finish them off, you’ll get cursed. Anathema, a heavy-ranged weapon, not only explodes on impact but also curses you if it hits anything. And don't forget the new skill, Indulgence, which unleashes a beam of light for massive damage and can even clear some of your curses.
The updates also introduce new modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, offering fresh challenges for seasoned players. Plus, you get to choose from 40 new heads, thanks to an NPC who lets you swap them at will.

New Mutations and Enemies Too
Alongside the weapons, new mutations are introduced. Cursed Flask lets you use your health flask without consuming a charge. Damned Vigor gives you a few seconds to kill an enemy and save yourself from death. And if you're cursed, Demonic Strength will boost your damage.
New enemies also join the fray. The Sore Loser sticks to you and curses you upon its demise. The Curser shoots guided cursed skulls and slashes if you get too close. Beware of the Doom Bringer, who can stack curses and kill you outright if she reaches over 50 curses.
So, head over to the Google Play Store, grab Dead Cells, and experience these final updates while they're still fresh and new.
