Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has been rated for the Nintendo Switch 2, sparking excitement among fans even before an official announcement about its arrival on the new console. While we await confirmation that this game, inspired by Akira Toriyama's beloved anime and manga series, will indeed grace the Switch 2, a now-deleted tweet from the Saudi General Authority of Media Regulation, as spotted by the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit, seems to confirm its availability.
"Experience the fighting action in the latest game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Available on Nintendo Switch 2, featuring 3D battles and storylines that change based on your choices," the tweet stated before its removal, also confirming a 12+ rating for the game.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero elevates the legendary gameplay of the Budokai Tenkaichi series to new heights, offering an impressive roster of playable characters. Each character boasts unique abilities, transformations, and techniques, promising a dynamic fighting experience.
In our IGN Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero review, we awarded it a 7/10, describing it as "a final flash from the past, sometimes to a fault, but the feeling of traveling back to a simpler time when games didn’t have to be balanced or competitive to be fun is still a good one."
Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 opened on April 24, maintaining a price of $449.99. The response was overwhelming, as expected. On the same day, Nintendo issued a warning to U.S. customers who pre-ordered through the My Nintendo Store, stating that release date delivery could not be guaranteed due to high demand.
