This impressive number placed Dune: Awakening as the ninth most-played game across Steam in the past 24 hours. As the game heads into its first full weekend post-launch, expectations are high that player counts will rise even further, potentially setting a new peak on either Saturday or Sunday.
Prior to launch, Funcom announced that the console version of Dune: Awakening has been delayed and is now expected to arrive "sometime in 2026."
