Epic Games' Mobile Store Launch: Free Games, Rewards, and More!
Epic Games has finally launched its mobile store, bringing a wave of exciting titles and rewards to Android users worldwide. This launch features popular games, free game giveaways, and exclusive in-game challenges.
Featured Mobile Games:
Epic is highlighting Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Fall Guys is now available for free download on mobile via the Epic Games Store. Downloading the app and participating games unlocks exclusive in-game cosmetics. These include a complete Fortnite outfit (outfit, back bling, pickaxe, and wrap), a new Fall Guys bean costume, a Fall Guys-themed Fortnite pickaxe, and a gold vehicle trim usable in both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. These rewards are exclusive to mobile players.
Beyond the Big Three:
The mobile Epic Games Store isn't limited to Epic's own titles. Nearly 20 third-party games are already available, and a free games program has commenced. Currently, Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee is free on Android and iOS until February 20th. Other Playdigious titles like Shapez and Evoland 2 are also available, with Cultist Simulator planned for release soon. Bloons TD 6 is another upcoming addition. While currently offering monthly free games, Epic aims to expand to weekly free game releases later in the year.
Increased Accessibility:
Despite challenges posed by Apple and Google regarding third-party app stores, Epic's launch expands gaming accessibility. This move is a significant step towards making gaming more readily available to a broader audience.
