Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a captivating world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan. The game's compelling narrative and innovative gameplay create an immersive experience. The Tachyon Medal, a crucial late-game item, is central to a challenging and extensive side quest. This guide details how to acquire and utilize this powerful artifact.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, and it's the final item obtained before the final showdown. To acquire it, progress through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack (90% health drain), so ensure Kina is prepared for significant healing. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly aids this battle.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves highly effective against summoned enemies. Consider including Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict massive damage.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest on your right – it contains the Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's functionality requires two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and completing the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These elusive stars appear in eight locations, with the first two encountered during the main storyline:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat the Cinderella Tri-Stars in the specified order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests beneath the Altar become accessible. One contains the Holy Belt (All Ailment Null).

Opening all three chests triggers a glow on the door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over levels, items, and equipment. While enemies become more challenging, this is manageable, particularly if all side quests are completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to embark on a renewed journey to save the Human Realm.
