Mortal Kombat 1 has exciting news for fans with the introduction of a new Kameo fighter, Madam Bo, set to join the game in March. Dive into the details about this feisty addition and what she brings to the Mortal Kombat universe!
Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo
New Kameo Fighter
Mortal Kombat 1 has released the official trailer for its newest Kameo fighter, Madam Bo, the owner of Fengjian Teahouse. Scheduled to arrive on March 18th, 2025, Madam Bo will be part of the Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion, joined by the villainous T-1000 from Terminator 2.
Before her role as an assist character, Madam Bo appeared in Mortal Kombat 1’s story mode, where she was seemingly defeated by Lin Kuei assassin Smoke for not paying protection money. However, this was a clever ruse to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her age, Madam Bo is a formidable fighter, having ties to the Lin Kuei and being a skilled martial artist who mentored Raiden and Kung Lao.
The gameplay footage showcases Madam Bo's prowess as she assists her students with powerful strikes and unique moves, including smashing glass bottles and a spectacular fatality where she kicks her opponent's head off, only to catch it elegantly on a tea tray.
T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut
Joining Madam Bo on March 18th is the iconic T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This liquid-metal assassin makes its debut in the Mortal Kombat franchise as a playable character, utilizing its shapeshifting abilities to wield a sharp sword or a machine gun against opponents.
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion
Both Madam Bo and T-1000 are part of the expansive Khaos Reigns DLC for Mortal Kombat 1. This expansion continues Liu Kang’s New Era storyline with a new campaign and cinematic experience, detailing his efforts to rally his champions against the menacing Titan Havik, who threatens the stability of the New Era.
The Kombat Pack 2, which includes Madam Bo and T-1000, also features other notable fighters. The pack began rolling out in September 2024 with the return of Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax, followed by Ghostface from the Scream franchise in November, and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Madam Bo and T-1000 will complete the roster later this month, adding even more excitement and variety to the game.
