Epic Games has unveiled the exciting new Battle Pass skins for Fortnite’s upcoming season, which officially goes by the title "Wanted." This season dives deep into the world of heists, complete with gun-toting villains, gold-laden vans, and explosive bank vaults—everything you'd expect from a thrilling robbery adventure. The season is set to kick off on February 21 and promises an engaging experience for all players.

Adding to the excitement, Fortnite is collaborating with the iconic fighting game series, Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero will make his debut in the Battle Pass, perfectly aligning with the season's heist theme through the skins. This collaboration coincides with the promotion of the much-anticipated film, Mortal Kombat 2, featuring Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Adeline Rudolph as Kitana.
Players can acquire these new skins using V-Bucks, Fortnite’s premium currency, with each character priced at 1,500 V-Bucks, maintaining the standard pricing from previous seasons.

The Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret are confirmed to make a return, though other weapons remain unconfirmed. Fans are buzzing with speculation about potential comebacks from the previous heist-themed season (Chapter 4 Season 4), including the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and the Grappler. However, these are just rumors at this point.
One of the season’s most anticipated features is Smart Building, a new mechanic that predicts the structure you need based on your aiming direction, enhancing the building aspect of the game.
In line with the heist theme, the gameplay mechanics have been revamped, replacing keycards with vault breaches. Players will now use Meltanite, Fortnite’s version of thermite, to crack open vaults and secure their rewards, adding a new strategic element to the game.
