Rockstar Games has unleashed the highly anticipated Bottom Dollar Bounties update for Grand Theft Auto Online, available now across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This substantial summer update, launched alongside patch 1.69 for GTA 5, delivers a wealth of fresh content for GTA Online's dedicated player base.
Despite its near-decade-long lifespan, GTA Online remains a dominant force in online multiplayer gaming. The game typically receives two major content drops annually, one in summer and one in winter. Interestingly, player engagement has remained robust even with the announced 2025 release of Grand Theft Auto 6. Rockstar's commitment to the game is evident with the Bottom Dollar Bounties update, hinting at potential future DLC releases.
Initially unveiled in June, Bottom Dollar Bounties brings back Maude Eccles from GTA 5's single-player story. Players step into the shoes of the new "lead dog" for the Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement business, alongside Maude's daughter, Jenette, embarking on thrilling bounty hunting missions. The update also introduces three new law enforcement vehicles for use in fresh Dispatch Work missions led by LSPD officer Vincent Effenburger.
Bottom Dollar Bounties: New Missions, Vehicles, and Enhanced Rewards
The update also features new drift upgrades for select vehicles and provides Rockstar Creators with expanded tools and props. Significantly, the Rockstar Newswire highlights increased base payouts for various in-game activities including Open Wheel Races, Taxi Work, A Superyacht Life, Lowriders Missions, Operation Paper Trail, Casino Story Missions, Gerald’s Last Play, Madrazo’s Dispatch Services, Premium Deluxe Repo Work, and Project Overthrow. Solo players will also enjoy extended timers during Gunrunning and Biker Sell Missions. Nine new vehicles join the fray:
