Battlegrounds Season 10: Second Nature is set to go live on April 29th, and the new Embers of the World Tree mini set will be released on May 13th. Both updates promise to bring new minions, unique card types, and other exciting additions to spice up your matches.
The theme of the Embers of the World Tree mini set centers around the Druids of the Flame attacking this ancient monument. Both the Druids and the opposing Dream Defenders will gain new Imbue and Dark Gifts, with the Druids harnessing Fire Magic to ignite your opponents. A highlight of the mini set are the Smouldering Cards, which grow stronger the longer they stay in your hand. However, be cautious—hold them too long, and they'll burn out and vanish. Strategic planning will be key to maximizing their value.
Enter the Battleground
Moving beyond the mini set, what can you expect from Battlegrounds Season 10: Second Nature? Trinkets are making a comeback, offering passive power-ups on Turn 6 and Turn 9 for lesser and greater trinkets, respectively. You'll also have the chance to tap into the power of the wild with two new heroes: Cenarius and Buttons.
The minion pool will see a major expansion with over 75 new and returning characters, as well as Tavern spells. Additionally, the Season 10 Battlegrounds Track includes a variety of new themed cosmetics for those who aim to complete it.
