Winter has arrived in *Honor of Kings* with the exciting Snow Carnival event, running until January 8th. This frosty celebration introduces a series of seasonal events and new gameplay mechanics, allowing you to engage in thrilling battles and festive challenges over the coming weeks. As the cold sets in, dive into the seasonal festivities on the battlefield, participate in limited-time events, and seize the opportunity to earn a variety of exclusive rewards.
The Snow Carnival unfolds in different phases to keep the excitement alive. Currently, the Glacial Twisters phase is live, where you'll navigate through icy tornadoes that impact your movement and positioning. Additionally, you can challenge the Snow Overlord and Snow Tyrant for a chance to apply an extra freeze effect upon victory.
Starting December 12th, phase two introduces the Ice Path effect, enabling you to summon the Shadow Vanguard, who can freeze enemies in your path. The hero’s Ice Burst skill will also be available, triggering an ice explosion that deals area of effect (AoE) damage and slows down foes.
Phase three, commencing on December 24th, will bring the River Sled event. Defeat the river sprite to gain a sled, which provides a speed boost during retreats. For a more casual experience, enjoy the Snowy Brawl and Snowy Race modes, adding a light-hearted touch to the event.
Beyond the frosty battles, the Snow Carnival offers numerous reward-focused events. The Zero-Cost Purchase event ensures you can acquire valuable items, including skins, through daily selections. Other tasks like Mutual Help and the Scoreboard Challenge provide chances to earn exclusive cosmetics, such as Liu Bei’s Funky Toymaker skin and the highly sought-after Everything Box.
In addition to the Snow Carnival, *Honor of Kings* has unveiled its 2025 esports calendar, promising an array of regional tournaments and global showdowns. The third season of the Honor of Kings Invitational is set to kick off in February in the Philippines, offering plenty of thrilling challenges for participants.
