Pokémon Go enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting February Community Day on February 9th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event will spotlight two intriguing Pokémon: Karrablast and Shelmet. These Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, offering you a prime opportunity to catch them, including their elusive Shiny versions.
The highlight of the event is the evolution benefits. Evolving Karrablast during the event or up until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time will grant you an Escavalier that knows the Charged Attack Razor Shell. This move boasts 35 power in Trainer Battles and a whopping 55 power in Gyms and Raids. Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe will yield an Accelgor equipped with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, delivering a solid 90 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms/Raids.
Engage in the Special Research to encounter Karrablast and Shelmet with unique Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, along with rewards like a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. Additionally, a Timed Research event will run for a week following the main event. By logging in during Community Day, you'll unlock tasks that lead to encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring the special backgrounds.
