According to sources cited by Deadline, these shows were never officially greenlit and could potentially still see the light of day. However, Marvel has seemingly shifted its focus elsewhere.
This strategic pivot comes as Marvel Studios gears up for the much-anticipated launch of the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again. In a recent revelation, Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios' head of streaming and TV, hinted at the possibility of bringing together the street-level heroes from Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist, collectively known as The Defenders.
