The decision to maintain existing ranks was announced via a blog post, citing community concerns about the frequency of resets impacting competitive enjoyment. Instead of a reset, players will retain their ranks and scores from the first half of the season. Completing 10 competitive matches and meeting specific conditions by the season's end will unlock new rewards, including a Gold rank costume and various Crests of Honor. This positive response to player feedback showcases NetEase's commitment to community input.
Season 1 Mid-Season Update Additions:
The update introduces two new playable characters: The Thing and Human Torch. While specific balance changes (buffs and nerfs) remain unannounced, this addition is expected to significantly impact gameplay.
