Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1
Get ready for a thrilling update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled the upcoming Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, featuring the highly anticipated arrival of the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman. This update also brings new maps, a fresh game mode, and a revamped battle pass.
A new gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's abilities. She's classified as a Strategist, utilizing a unique blend of offensive and supportive capabilities. Her primary attack damages foes while simultaneously healing allies. A knockback mechanism keeps enemies at bay, complemented by her signature invisibility and a double jump for enhanced mobility. She can also deploy a protective shield for teammates and unleash an ultimate ability creating a zone of invisibility, disrupting long-range attacks.
Mister Fantastic also makes his debut in Season 1, revealed in a separate trailer. His gameplay demonstrates a versatile combination of Duelist and Vanguard styles, leveraging stretching attacks and defensive buffs.
While the initial Season 1 roster includes Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic, Human Torch and The Thing will join the fray later in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. NetEase Games has confirmed that full seasons are planned to last approximately three months.
Although some fans anticipated Blade's arrival alongside Dracula, the Season 1 antagonist, he's been absent from this initial launch. Despite this, the excitement surrounding Invisible Woman, Mister Fantastic, and the new content remains high. The future of Marvel Rivals looks bright, with many more surprises likely in store.
