This season introduces a roster of new cards inspired by Marvel's Dark Reign storyline, following the Civil War arc. Norman Osborn, having seized control of S.H.I.E.L.D. (renamed H.A.M.M.E.R.), assembles a sinister Avengers team.

These cards will be playable in the new location, Asgard Besieged, depicting Thor's realm under attack.
