New Gameplay, Cutscenes, and Potential Boss Encounters
With just one month until launch, Nintendo is ramping up excitement for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The legendary bounty hunter's galactic return gets another major push with the new "Survive" trailer, released on Nintendo of America's official YouTube channel.
This trailer mixes familiar scenes from earlier previews with brand-new sequences from cutscenes and gameplay, including a classic anime nod for observant fans.
Highlights include stunning first-person views of Samus exploring varied cosmic environments, such as the previously shown planet Viewros, a freezing tundra caught in a blizzard, immense alien structures, and a molten, Mustafar-like landscape.
Samus also demonstrates her iconic arsenal. While the Morph Ball takes a backseat this time, her Grapple Beam gets a moment in the spotlight. We also get another glimpse of her sleek motorcycle speeding across desert terrain, featuring the instantly recognizable Akira slide.

The "Survive" trailer also serves as an in-depth preview of the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Players can download this enhanced version directly or upgrade from the standard Nintendo Switch version for $9.99.
