Set in 1898 within the ominous Sker Hotel on the Welsh coast, Maid of Sker plunges players into a world of dark secrets and spine-tingling Welsh hymns. Drawing inspiration from Welsh folklore, particularly the legend of Y Ferch o’r Sger (The Maid of Sker), the game unfolds a gripping narrative.
Players assume the role of Thomas Evans, drawn to the hotel by his girlfriend, Elisabeth Williams, to investigate her family's unsettling behavior. However, the unsettling truth soon emerges: the hotel is under the control of the sinister "Quiet Ones."
These enemies are blind but possess incredibly acute hearing. The slightest sound will attract their attention, making stealth paramount. Forget blasting your way out; survival hinges on silent movement and strategic evasion. The gameplay echoes the tension of the film A Quiet Place. A helpful gadget temporarily stuns enemies, but it's not a foolproof solution.
