Since the launch of *Star Trek: Discovery* in 2017, the franchise has continued to expand and evolve, culminating in the recent release of *Star Trek: Section 31* on Paramount+. While *Section 31* didn't meet everyone's expectations, it has still provided some moments that stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the best of *Star Trek*. With the varied reception of *Section 31* and the acclaim of *Strange New Worlds*, now is the perfect time for fans to rank and voice their opinions on the modern era of *Star Trek* series. Although *Section 31* is a movie, it's included in this list because it originated as a planned series.
You have the opportunity to create your own tier list and compare it with the IGN community's rankings. Is *Strange New Worlds* truly at the pinnacle? Does *Discovery* deserve a higher grade than its current D ranking? The power is in your hands to decide!
### Star Trek Series of the Modern EraPersonally, I found the third season of *Picard* to be exceptional, redeeming the shortcomings of the first two seasons and earning a well-deserved A grade. *Prodigy* also holds a special place in my heart, serving as an unexpected yet delightful sequel to *Voyager*, and I believe it merits at least a B, if not higher.
