On larger maps, the Parabolic Microphone is invaluable for pinpointing ghost locations through sound cues: object throws, door movements, and vocalizations. It can also fulfill optional objectives requiring ghost voice recordings. Furthermore, certain ghosts (e.g., Deogen, Banshee) have unique audio signatures only detectable with this device, aiding in identification.
