How to Get the Ingenuity Utility Belt
The Ingenuity Utility Belt is a unique drop from the King in the Mists, a challenging endgame Ritual Boss. To access this boss, you need the "An Audience With the King" item, used at the Realmgate on the Atlas.
Defeating the King in the Mists is not guaranteed to yield the belt; it's one of five possible unique drops:
- The Burden of Shadows Chiming Staff
Beetlebite
From Nothing
Pragmatism- Ingenuity
The King in the Mists' difficulty scales, with higher difficulties increasing the drop chance but also significantly increasing the challenge. His attacks are similar to the Act 1 King in the Mists, providing a point of reference.
Alternatively, you can purchase the Ingenuity Utility Belt from the PoE 2 trade site for approximately 15-50 Divine Orbs, depending on its stats. This is a far more expensive but reliable method.
How to Get "An Audience With the King"
This item can be obtained through:
- Trading: It typically costs 4-7 Divine Orbs on the trade site.
- Ritual Maps: It has a low chance of dropping as a Ritual favor. These favors are expensive (2700-3900 Tribute), but you can defer the item to obtain it at a lower cost in a future Ritual (it usually reappears within 1-4 maps).
If you obtain "An Audience With the King" but aren't ready for the fight, you can seek a carry from other players or sell the item.
Can You Use Orb of Chance?
No. The Ingenuity Utility Belt is not obtainable through regular means, including using Orbs of Chance. It's exclusively dropped by the King in the Mists.
