

Pokemon GO Bug Out Event Kicks Off Seasonal Celebration
March brings exciting events to *Pokemon GO*, including a special celebration featuring bug-type Pokemon. The Bug Out event offers abundant catching opportunities, attractive bonuses, and fresh avatar items for trainers.
Event Schedule
The Bug Out event runs from March 26 at 10 AM local time through March 30 at 8 PM local time, giving trainers five full days to encounter these fascinating creatures. This event presents excellent Shiny hunting opportunities, as most featured Pokemon have available Shiny variations.

The following bug-type Pokemon will appear more frequently during the event:
- Caterpie
- Weedle
- Wurmple
- Nincada
- Venipede
- Dwebble
- Joltik
- Grubbin
- Dewpider
- Nymble
- Cutiefly (with Shiny potential)
New Pokemon Debuts
The event introduces two new species: Sizzlipede and its evolved form Centiskorch, which requires 50 Sizzlipede Candy to evolve.

Trainers can challenge the following Pokemon in raids (* indicates Shiny availability):
One-Star Raids
- Scyther*
- Nincada*
- Sizzlipede
Three-Star Raids
- Beedrill*
- Scizor*
- Kleavor*
Event Bonuses
Participants will enjoy:
- Double XP for Nice Throws or better
- Increased Candy rewards for Nice/Great/Excellent Throws
- More Candy XL rewards (for trainers above Level 31)
- Sizzlipede attracted by Lure Modules
- Higher Shiny rates for Wurmple and Venipede
- Bonus Pokemon spawns near lured PokéStops
Research Opportunities
Event-themed Field Research tasks will reward Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and Pokemon encounters. Both free Timed Research (offering Lure Modules) and paid Timed Research (including Premium Battle Passes) will be available.

The in-game shop will feature new cosmetic items:
- Sizzlipede Boots
- Scolipede Jacket
Collection Challenges
Special challenges await trainers, rewarding Stardust, XP, and encounters with event-themed Pokemon.
