Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two Launches with New Cosmetic Rewards

Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues with a second phase, introducing fresh cosmetic items to the in-game shop. This update includes a new Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a stylish blue Blastoise playmat. These additions join the existing Shinedust exchange option.

The event's second part runs until January 22nd, providing a limited window to earn event tickets. However, players have a slightly longer window to redeem their tickets in the event shop, which remains open until January 28th. Therefore, diligent daily logins are advised to maximize rewards.

Following a busy holiday period of generous login bonuses, the event schedule has settled down. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and anticipate the next expansion, rumored for a late January release. The confirmed usability of Pack Hourglasses in future expansions has spurred players to stockpile them.

This Blastoise-themed update offers a compelling reason for daily engagement. Players can exchange surplus event tickets for Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket, up to 1000 Shinedust total).

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: A Recap

The event's first phase (January 6th onwards) introduced promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander, boasting unique artwork despite identical attacks to their standard counterparts. These, along with a Blue & Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available. New missions, tied to Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire/Water-type cards, continue to award Event Shop Tickets. The Bonus Pick also offers additional tickets, streamlining item acquisition. Daily logins are strongly recommended, especially for those aiming to complete their collection of limited-edition promo cards, as trading these cards may not be possible, according to ongoing speculation.
