Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over – A Stylish Showdown!
Get ready for a fashionable fight in Pokémon GO! Fashion Week: Taken Over runs from January 15th to 19th, bringing a stylish twist to the usual gameplay. This event offers a unique opportunity to battle Team GO Rocket, rescue Shadow Palkia, and even snag a Shadow Ho-Oh.
New Pokémon Debuts:
Two new Pokémon are making their debut: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai! Shroodle will be hatching from 12 km Eggs.
Team GO Rocket Takeover:
Expect increased Team GO Rocket activity at PokéStops and in balloons. This provides ample chances to use Charged TMs to remove the Frustration move from your Shadow Pokémon.
Shadow Pokémon Encounters:
New Shadow Pokémon are joining the fray, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Keep an eye out for Shiny variations! For the first time, you can use Remote Raid Passes to participate in Shadow Raids, regardless of your location.
A special research task will lead you to a Super Rocket Radar, culminating in a battle against Giovanni to rescue Shadow Palkia. Field Research tasks will also offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Completing a Collection Challenge rewards Stardust and a Trubbish encounter.

On January 19th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, participate in Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day. Enjoy increased Raid Pass availability, boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rates, and the chance to teach your Ho-Oh the powerful Sacred Fire Charged Attack. A $5 event ticket unlocks even more rewards.
