The Gigantamax Kingler Max Battle Day event is coming to Pokémon GO this February 1st, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. This event offers a fantastic opportunity to encounter the Gigantamax Kingler in six-star Max Battles, with a chance to snag a Shiny one!
Event Bonuses:
Prepare for boosted Max Particle collection! The event features several significant bonuses:
- During the event (2 PM - 5 PM):
- Increased Max Particle collection limit to 1,600.
- All Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles.
- More frequent Power Spot refreshes.
- 8x Max Particles from Power Spots.
- From 12 AM to 5 PM:
- 2x Max Particles from exploration.
- 1/4 reduced adventuring distance for Max Particles (requires collecting all nearby Max Particles first).
Remember to check your Nearby menu regularly for Max Particles!
Event Exclusives and Tickets:
A Timed Research event will be available for purchase ($5 or equivalent) during the event (2 PM - 5 PM). Rewards include a Max Mushroom, 25,000 XP, 2x XP from Max Battles, and an increased Max Particle collection limit to 5,600. Tickets can be purchased and gifted to Great Friends or higher, but only until 4 PM local time. Purchases are non-refundable and cannot be made with PokéCoins.
Tips for Success:
- Utilize Max Mushrooms: These items temporarily double the damage your Dynamax/Gigantamax Pokémon inflict during Max Battles.
- Team Up: Use Campfire to find Max Battles and connect with other Trainers for collaborative battles.
