Project NET: A Girls’ Frontline Legacy
First announced on December 27, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), Project NET underwent its initial localized test in several SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025.
Building upon the success of the original Girls’ Frontline (a popular strategy RPG gacha game launched in 2016), and its recent sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium (released December 5, 2024), Project NET promises familiar characters and aesthetics within a brand-new, action-packed third-person shooter experience.
While an official release date remains unannounced, Project NET is currently planned for release on iOS and Android, based on the devices used in the initial test.
