While you start the game with a pair of shoes, you won't be stuck with them forever. There are several methods to acquire new footwear. You can find shoes in chests or loot them from poachers and other human enemies. For a more lawful approach, you can purchase them.

Tailors in locations like Troskowitz sell shoes, but these often come with less impressive stats. For better quality, visit a cobbler. You can find a cobbler in Trosky, identified on the map by a symbol resembling three red pieces in a circle.

When you talk to a cobbler, such as Cobbler Matthew, you'll discover a variety of items for sale, including shoes and horse gear. Additionally, you can purchase materials, Blacksmith's Kits, and Cobbler's Kits from them.

Repairing your shoes can be done in multiple ways. You can visit cobblers or blacksmiths and select the repair option, which brings up a menu where you can choose which items to repair and view the associated costs. These costs can be reduced if you invest in the Craftsmanship skill, which offers discounts on NPC repairs.

Alternatively, you can repair your shoes yourself, but this depends on your Craftsmanship level. If your skill isn't high enough, you won't be able to repair your shoes or other equipment. To perform self-repairs, you'll need a Cobbler's Kit.

Cobbler's Kits are available from various vendors, including cobblers and blacksmiths, and can also be found in chests or by looting NPCs. To use a Cobbler's Kit, navigate to it in your inventory and press the interact button ("E" on PC). This opens a menu showing damaged items that can be repaired with the kit. If an item appears faded, your skill level is insufficient to repair it. Otherwise, select the items you wish to repair and use the interact button again to complete the repair.

This guide covers the essentials of acquiring and repairing shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For repairing other types of gear, use a Blacksmith's Kit in a similar manner. Alternatively, seek out vendors capable of performing repairs to ensure your gear remains in top condition, enhancing your gameplay experience.
