Back in January, Bluepoch Games thrilled fans with the announcement of an exciting collaboration between Reverse: 1999 and the iconic Assassin’s Creed franchise. Now, they've unveiled more details about the upcoming crossover, which promises to bring the legendary Ezio Auditore da Firenze into the world of Reverse: 1999 as a playable character. This collaboration with Ubisoft will celebrate two fan-favorite entries from the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. A teaser released in January hinted at the crossover, featuring Vertin navigating a rain-soaked street as the glowing Assassin’s Creed logo loomed in the distance.
Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!
The full details of the collaboration have now been revealed, with the event set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Alongside Ezio, players have plenty to anticipate in the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover. The event will unfold in two phases, each introducing unique Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and events.
Phase I will transport players to the Renaissance era of Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the historic city, unraveling enigmatic clues. If you're a fan of Assassin’s Creed II, you'll appreciate the immersive setting and storyline.
Phase II shifts the scene to the ancient world of Greece, echoing the backdrop of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Players familiar with the game will recognize key events as Vertin and her crew embark on their adventure through this iconic period.

It’s a Special Crossover
This crossover marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time that all global servers are synchronized, allowing players worldwide to access the event content simultaneously. Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics, where you play as Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon called The Storm.
Following the storms, entire eras vanish, and Vertin, along with her partner Sonetto, journeys through various time periods to rescue other arcanists affected by these temporal shifts.
