Rustbowl Rumble, the Third Game in the Meteorfall Series, Opens Pre-Registration on Android

Slothwerks, the independent studio behind the Meteorfall series, returns with a fresh card battler experience. Pre-registration for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is now open on Android. Following its predecessors—Meteorfall (2017) and Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale (2019)—this marks the third installment in the franchise, with a release scheduled for next month.

What’s the Setting?

This title is a roguelike deckbuilder featuring rapid-paced matches where victory hinges on bending rules rather than strictly following them. Players will deploy cards to entertain a fierce and bloodthirsty audience. You command a squad of three heroes, selected from eight available characters, each equipped with their own unique card decks.

The game boasts over 200 distinct cards, allowing for mid-run customization through layered upgrades. Wild Cards enable you to defy standard engagement rules, while performing spectacular feats during battles grants powerful buffs.

Between matches, you can explore Bramble Town, where strategic decisions are crucial. You might choose to upgrade your deck, train your heroes, or simply wander the streets and absorb the game's quirky atmosphere.

Pre-Registration for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble Is Now Live

Originally unveiled as Bramble Royale, the title was rebranded due to widespread confusion regarding its genre. Developers officially renamed it Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble a few weeks ago. This strategic move leverages the established Meteorfall brand, instantly signaling to players that this game shares the same distinctive and eccentric universe. Below is a preview of what the game looks like in action.

If you are a fan of the series, you can pre-register for Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble on the Google Play Store. The game is set to launch on June 25th, 2025, and will be available for $6.99.
