Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling free DLC, the Emerald Diorama, which introduces a delightful crossover with Square Enix's renowned fantasy RPG series, SaGa. This update is the most significant one to date, bringing a fresh wave of JRPG vibes to the beloved game.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a captivating new stage that functions like a mini world map, complete with world-hopping elements that enhance the adventure. Players can explore this new terrain and encounter over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to those who sing cursed melodies, adding a unique flavor to the gameplay.
Additionally, the DLC offers over 16 new weapons and introduces the innovative Glimmer system, allowing players to randomly acquire new skills during their runs. The update also enriches the game's atmosphere with nine new music tracks.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama in Vampire Survivors, players should visit Moongolow and interact with a new merchant. By purchasing the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, players can progressively unlock the new content. The DLC also introduces character parties, enabling players to form their own mini squads for a more cooperative gameplay experience.

The DLC also features two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns consisting of six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" enhances the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" expands the new DLC's content.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
Simultaneously, the base game has received another free update, dubbed The Coop, centered around chickens. This update introduces a new chicken character named Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay.
Players can also achieve numerous new achievements and unlock Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens unlocks the full potential of The Coop update. A helpful tip: refrain from killing anything for the first minute during The Coop gameplay to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo.
