To celebrate the launch, Sega is offering a fantastic incentive. If you create a Sega Account and link it to a compatible platform account (Steam, PlayStation Network, or Xbox) capable of playing Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii before March 7th, you'll receive a code for the Kazuma Kiryu Special Outfit DLC. This unique outfit transforms protagonist Goro Majima into the iconic Kazuma Kiryu. Eligible players will receive their codes starting February 17th, which can be redeemed in-game from February 28th.

Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis (NGS) players aren't left out either. By linking their Sega Accounts to NGS, they'll receive 300 Star Gems, 100x C/Endymio, 500x Card Scratch Tickets, 3 Beauty Salon Passes, 3 Color Change Passes, and a charming Lobby Action featuring your character proudly displaying the Sega logo.

May Be Connected To Upcoming Super Game Title

There's speculation that the launch of Sega Account could be linked to Sega's ambitious "Super Game" project, announced by CEO Haruki Satomi in 2022. Satomi stated, "One strategy for generating such hit titles is the creation of a 'Super Game' - a large-scale global title. We're currently developing such a game, targeting release by the fiscal year ending March 2026."

While details about the Super Game remain scarce two years after its announcement, Sega and its subsidiaries have been busy developing a range of titles, from beloved classics like Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, and Golden Axe to new ventures like the enigmatic Project Century. The introduction of the Sega Account platform might signal the start of a new chapter for Sega, but only time will reveal how these plans will unfold.
