T.S. Nowlin (Maze Runner, Project Adam) is writing the screenplay. Derek Kolstad's involvement, while previously confirmed, is currently unconfirmed. Adding to the production's impressive credentials, Chad Stahelski (John Wick, Ghost of Tsushima) and his company, 87Eleven Entertainment, will serve as executive producers.
Sifu, released in 2022, achieved phenomenal success, selling over a million copies in its first three weeks. The game centers on a young martial artist's quest for revenge after their master's murder. Utilizing a mystical pendant for resurrection, each death accelerates the protagonist's aging, adding a unique layer to the intense journey of vengeance.
