Sega unleashes a wave of Sonic mobile game updates timed with the imminent release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Across platforms, including Apple Arcade, App Store, and Google Play, players can expect movie-inspired content in Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash.
First up, on December 12th, Sonic Forces receives a new Metro-city Zone. This addition features three challenging tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other classic characters. Complete these levels before seeing the film for a truly immersive experience.
Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team introduces Shadow as a playable character with new abilities like Chaos Control and Chaos Shift. Unlock him by tackling Tails’ Challenges. New powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost are also available for all characters, with exclusive upgrades enhancing Shadow's capabilities. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks, along with a revamped tutorial, round out this update.
Lastly, Sonic Dash's update arrives on December 20th, allowing players to collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges offer additional rewards. Sonic Dash+, on Apple Arcade, will receive Shadow-themed updates in January.
