Sony Leaks Stellar Blade PC Release: New Features, Boss Fight, and 25 Outfits Unveiled

by Mila May 16,2025

The highly anticipated PC version of Stellar Blade is set to launch on Steam on June 11, accompanied by a suite of PC-specific features, as revealed by a trailer that was briefly leaked by Sony itself. The trailer, initially published on the PlayStation YouTube channel by Sony Interactive Entertainment before being taken down, has since been captured and shared across the internet, and is expected to be officially released soon.

Alongside the PC launch, a Complete Edition of Shift Up's acclaimed PS5 action game was announced. This edition will include the base game along with all the DLC released to date for both PS5 and PC platforms. This news follows Stellar Blade's successful debut on PS5 in April 2024.

The PC version of Stellar Blade comes equipped with all the expected enhancements, including AI upscaling through Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3, an unlocked framerate, support for Japanese and Chinese voiceovers, ultrawide display compatibility, higher resolution environment textures, and DualSense support for haptic feedback and trigger effects.

The trailer also teased a new boss battle against Mann, Leader of the Sentinels, and introduced 25 new costumes, expected to be available on PS5 as well. Additionally, an intriguing scene at the trailer's end shows Eve releasing a memory stick, a sequence absent from the base game. This has sparked speculation about a possible new ending or upcoming DLC.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition

Stellar Blade has been a significant success for Korean developer Shift Up, generating $43 million in royalties in the last financial year. The studio anticipates that the PC version will surpass the sales of the PS5 version, which sold over a million copies within two months of its release. Shift Up is also considering developing another game in the franchise.

In Stellar Blade, players assume the role of Eve, fighting against unknown invaders to reclaim Earth in a fast-paced action role-playing game. The game received a 7/10 from IGN, praised for its action elements but critiqued for its characters, story, and certain RPG mechanics. Despite these critiques, it quickly sold a million copies, underscoring its widespread appeal.
