Mortal Kombat Mobile welcomes back the iconic guest character, Spawn!
This latest addition to the mobile fighting game roster features Spawn in his Mortal Kombat 11 design, created by Todd McFarlane. He's not alone; the MK1 version of Kenshi is also joining the fray shortly. This update boasts three brand-new Friendship finishers and a brutal Brutality.
Spawn, the anti-heroic vigilante, is a murdered soldier who struck a deal with the Devil to return to Earth. His dangerous supernatural abilities make him a formidable addition to the game, and perhaps even a harbinger of the Apocalypse. Originally created (though first published in the 90s) by Todd McFarlane, Spawn is a flagship character of Image Comics and a highly sought-after guest character in the Mortal Kombat franchise, having previously appeared in Mortal Kombat 11.
A Hellspawn-Sized Update
The arrival of Spawn, alongside a revamped Kenshi, is sure to excite fans of both Spawn and Mortal Kombat, despite some players' reservations about mobile versions of fighting games.
Spawn, based on his Mortal Kombat 11 appearance, is currently available in Mortal Kombat Mobile. The update also includes the challenging Hellspawn dungeons. Download it now on the iOS App Store and Google Play!

A Bittersweet Victory: Just before publication, reports surfaced alleging the entire Netherrealm Studios mobile team was laid off. Sadly, Spawn's addition might be the final contribution from this talented team.
