Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's SEVA-V Armor: A Free Early-Game Powerhouse
Stalker 2 offers a variety of armor suits to enhance survivability within The Zone's hazardous environment. The SEVA-V suit, a valuable member of the SEVA series, stands out as a free, early-game acquisition providing excellent PSI protection. This guide details how to obtain this crucial piece of equipment.
Locating the SEVA-V Suit
The SEVA-V armor is located at the Scientist Helicopter Point of Interest (POI) in Stalker 2's Rostok region. This POI is situated southwest of the Rostok base, in a large field marked by a crashed helicopter within an Electro anomaly and a large, rusted crane. Reaching the suit requires a bit of climbing.
Accessing the Crane and Obtaining the Armor
Upon entering the Scientist Helicopter POI, you'll see the crashed helicopter (within the Electro anomaly) to your right and a ladder leading up the rusted crane to your left. Before ascending, use an artifact detector to acquire an Electro-type artifact from the anomalous field near the helicopter – this will aid in navigating the area.
Climb the crane using the ladder. Once at the top, proceed to the right along the crane's structure until you reach the operator's cabin on the left. Carefully jump the gap to the cabin. Inside, you'll find a bag containing valuable supplies and the SEVA-V armor. Retrace your steps to descend the crane.
SEVA-V Suit Stats and Upgrading
The SEVA-V suit boasts high radiation protection and decent PSI protection. It can be upgraded by Screw, the technician at the Rostok base, allowing for the insertion of up to four artifacts. If you already possess superior armor, selling the SEVA-V suit can yield a substantial amount of in-game currency.
